Korea Travel ("the App") helps foreign visitors and residents in Korea find nearby
public restrooms, pharmacies, emergency medical centers, police facilities, tourist
information centers, and more. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes,
why, and the choices you have.
Summary: The App has no server of its own and does not create user accounts.
All facility data is bundled inside the App. Your location is used only on your device and is
never sent to the developer. Ads are served through Google AdMob, and optional usage measurement
is provided by Firebase Analytics. Third parties may receive data when you use maps, analytics,
ads, directions, app updates, or online attraction images.
To show facilities near you, sort them by distance, and pass a destination to Google Maps for directions. Processed on your device only.
Advertising
IP address, Advertising ID, app set ID, coarse location, ad interaction data, app launch/tap/video-view data, diagnostics
To display, personalize where allowed, measure, and protect ads through Google AdMob (see Section 4). Collected by Google, not by the developer.
Usage analytics
App-instance ID, app opens and sessions, screen names, selected facility category, share, ad-impression and rewarded-ad outcomes, app/device information, and approximate geography derived from IP address
To understand which screens and facility categories are useful and improve the App. Precise location, search terms, place names, facility IDs, and Android Advertising ID are not sent to Firebase Analytics.
Device
Device model, OS version, language, crash/diagnostic data
Standard information processed by Google Play services and AdMob for app delivery, ad serving, and stability.
Stored only on your device. Saved places include place name, address, coordinates, and saved time.
The App does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, account credentials, or payment information.
2. How Location Is Used
Location permission is optional. If you decline it, the App still works and simply centers the map on central Seoul.
Your location is used in real time to find nearby facilities and is not stored by the developer or transmitted to any developer-operated server (we operate none).
When you tap "Directions" or "Naver Map," route coordinates may be opened in Google Maps or Naver Map. Handling there is governed by the selected service's privacy policy.
If ads are enabled (see Section 4), Google AdMob may use coarse location to personalize ads.
3. Third-Party Services (Data Processors)
The App relies on the following services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
Firebase Analytics — measures app opens, sessions, screen views, ad impressions, and the limited feature events described above. It uses a pseudonymous app-instance ID; Advertising ID collection and analytics-based ad personalization are disabled. Firebase Privacy and Security

Tourism image hosts — attraction images may be loaded from public tourism image URLs, which receive standard connection information such as IP address.
4. Advertising
Advertising is currently enabled. A banner ad may be shown at the bottom of
the map screen. You can optionally remove ads for 24 hours by watching a rewarded video.
Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may automatically collect and share IP address, Advertising ID, app set ID, user product interactions, diagnostic information, coarse location, and ad-interaction data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit by Google.
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to request and manage ad privacy choices before requesting ads.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete/Reset advertising ID or turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
You can temporarily remove ads for 24 hours by watching an optional rewarded video (from Settings). The App has no paid features or in-app purchases.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Location: used transiently to compute nearby results; not retained by the developer.
Saved places and preferences: stored locally on your device until you remove them, reset app data, or uninstall the App.
Usage analytics: retained by Google according to the Firebase/Google Analytics retention settings and policies. Turning off Usage analytics stops future collection and resets the Analytics identifier stored on the device.
Advertising / device data: retained by Google per its policies; you may reset your Ad ID at any time.
On uninstall: all locally stored app data is removed from your device.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Location: grant or revoke at any time in your device's system settings.
Usage analytics: turn collection on or off at any time using the Usage analytics switch in Settings. Turning it off does not delete aggregate or previously uploaded data.
Ad privacy choices: where required, use the App's ad privacy choices entry in Settings. You can also opt out via your device's ad settings or Google Ads Settings (Section 4).
Remove ads: watch an optional rewarded video to remove ads for 24 hours (Settings).

7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly
collect personal information from children. Advertising is configured to comply with Google Play's
Families and ad-content policies.
We may update this Policy to reflect legal or service changes. Material changes will be announced
at least 7 days before they take effect by updating this page and the "Last updated" date above.
Where required, in-app notice will also be provided.

2. 위치 정보의 이용
위치 권한은 선택 사항입니다. 거부해도 앱은 정상 작동하며 지도는 서울 도심을 기준으로 표시됩니다.
위치 정보는 주변 시설 검색을 위해 실시간으로만 사용되며, 개발자가 운영하는 서버(존재하지 않음)로 전송되거나 저장되지 않습니다.
"길찾기" 또는 "네이버지도"를 누르면 경로 좌표가 Google 지도 또는 네이버지도에서 열릴 수 있습니다. 이후 처리는 선택한 서비스의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
광고가 활성화된 경우(4항), Google AdMob이 광고 맞춤화를 위해 대략적 위치를 사용할 수 있습니다.

관광 이미지 호스트 — 관광지 이미지는 공공 관광 이미지 URL에서 온라인으로 로드될 수 있으며, 이때 IP 주소 등 일반 접속 정보가 전달될 수 있습니다.
4. 광고
광고는 현재 활성화되어 있습니다. 지도 화면 하단에 배너 광고가 표시될 수 있으며,
설정에서 선택형 보상 영상을 시청하면 24시간 동안 광고를 제거할 수 있습니다.
광고는 Google AdMob이 게재하며, 광고, 분석, 부정 이용 방지를 위해 IP 주소, 광고 식별자(Ad ID), 앱 세트 ID,
사용자 제품 상호작용, 진단 정보, 대략적 위치, 광고 상호작용 데이터를 자동으로 수집·공유할 수 있습니다. 이 데이터는 Google에 의해 전송 중 암호화됩니다.
본 앱은 필요한 경우 광고 요청 전에 Google User Messaging Platform(UMP)을 사용해 광고 개인정보 선택을 요청하고 관리합니다.
맞춤형 광고는 언제든지 거부할 수 있습니다.
Android: 설정 → Google → 광고 → 광고 ID 삭제/재설정 또는 "광고 개인 최적화 선택 해제".
